Irvine residents can receive up to three pre-packaged bags (20 pounds per bag) of free compost. Compost will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.

In an effort to address the growing blood supply crisis in Orange County, the City of Irvine and UCI Health are partnering together to host a blood drive event Wednesday, September 11, 9 a.m.–3 p.m., at the Irvine Civic Center. In partnership with the City of Irvine, Waste Management is hosting a free paper-shredding event.
Irvine residents can safely and securely dispose of up to five banker-size file boxes. The event is first-come, first-served and will end early if truck capacity is reached. Customers who wish to watch their paper be shredded will need to park in a designated area away from the truck and staff.

In support of the exhibition Thank You, Good Night: Concert Photography, the Great Park Gallery presents a unique live music and art making activity. Song Requests and Concert Posters will give participants the opportunity to request songs they love from the '60s to today to be performed live while creating fictional concert posters that represent their favorite artists.
