In March 2025, the California Office of the State Fire Marshal (OSFM) released its 2025 Recommended Local Responsibility Area Fire Hazard Severity Zone map for the state of California, including Irvine.

The 2025 Local Responsibility Area Fire Hazard Severity Map is developed by Cal Fire using the latest climate data, fire history, topography, and wildfire modeling to classify areas as Moderate, High, or Very High fire hazard zones.

The community is invited to Hicks Canyon for an outdoor family movie night on the big screen. Bring low-back chairs, blankets and a picnic, or purchase tasty treats from gourmet food trucks and a snack bar. Guests can arrive early with food trucks available beginning at 6 p.m. Movies at 6:30 p.m. and are weather permitting.

Enjoy family-friendly concerts at Mike Ward Community Park — Woodbridge covering a variety of musical tastes from country rock and dance hits to classic soul and orchestra music. Concerts begin at 5:30 p.m. Guests can bring picnic-style treats or purchase snacks from gourmet food trucks.
