The Irvine Fine Arts Center invites the community to the 42nd annual Holiday Faire Saturday, November 9, 10 a.m.–4 p.m. at the Great Park. The Holiday Faire is an opportunity to support the art community through shopping unique, handmade gifts from more than 100 local and regional artisans.

The City of Irvine is in the planning phase of a new library at the Great Park as part of the Great Park Framework Plan. Planned for a site adjacent to the Botanical Gardens and the Veteran’s Memorial Park and Gardens, this will be the most versatile library in our City.

Metrolink is conducting nighttime and weekend railroad maintenance along the Orange County line between Santa Ana and Laguna Niguel to maintain safe and reliable train service. When rail maintenance is being done, train conductors are required to sound their horns to alert workers.
The City of Irvine, in partnership with OCAPICA and Groundswell, will host a training for Irvine residents on How to be an Upstanding Irvine Resident. The training will take place Thursday, October 12, from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. at Quail Hill Community Center.
The City of Irvine is accepting applications to fill two volunteer member-at-large vacancies on the Irvine Sports Committee. Completed applications must be submitted online by 5 p.m. Monday, October 23.
