The 2020 Irvine Animal Care Center Calendar is here, and it’s the perfect gift for any pet lover. It is on sale for $15 at the center during regular business hours, and proceeds from the calendar go directly to support adoptable pets.
Like all communities, Irvine could potentially face widespread devastation in the event of a natural disaster. In order to better prepare in advance of a disaster, the City of Irvine is developing a Local Hazard Mitigation Plan. Your responses to this survey will help develop the plan.

William “Bill” Woollett, Irvine’s first city manager, passed away on Wednesday, November 6. He became the City of Irvine’s first full-time employee when he was hired as City Manager in January 1972. Since then, few people have had as much of an impact on our community as he did.

The City of Irvine Animal Care Center hosts its 13th annual Home for the Holidays Pet Adoption Fair 10 a.m.–2 p.m. Sunday, December 8. Join us rain or shine as more than 30 pet rescue groups and animal shelters will bring about 500 homeless dogs, cats, rabbits, and small animals for adoption.
The City of Irvine is preparing the 2020-2024 Consolidated Plan as required by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. This Needs Assessment Survey is used to obtain input from community residents regarding affordable housing, community development, economic development, and more.
