The Irvine Animal Care Center hosts two large adoption events throughout the year, as well as various donation drives and smaller activities to support animals in need.
LOW-COST VACCINE CLINIC (DOGS & CATS)
The Irvine Animal Care Center is partnering with HEART to offer a low-cost cat and dog vaccine clinic utilizing HEART’s mobile clinic. The mobile clinic unit will be in the center’s parking lot at 6443 Oak Canyon, Irvine. Reservations are required.

CALIFORNIA ADOPT-A-PET-DAY
June 7: The Irvine Animal Care Center is excited to be part of a special, statewide adoption event, California-Adopt-a-Pet Day, Saturday, June 7. Thanks to the generous support of the ASPCA in partnership with CalAnimals, all adoption fees June 7 are free.
FOSTER DONATION DRIVE
A huge thank you to everyone who donated to our Foster Donation Drive. During the month of March, we received more than $5,000 to support our Foster Care program. More details on our 2026 event will be available early next year.
VIRTUAL 5K
