Heritage Park Master Plan Community Workshop Series

Experience, Engage, and Envision What's Next for Heritage Park 

The City of Irvine's Health & Wellness division and Community & Library Services Department are hosting a workshop series to explore Heritage Park and provide input on the master plan concepts. Join us for the upcoming workshop series to learn more about the park and share your feedback. Details about the workshops are provided below — sign up online to attend; each workshop offers unique insights into the future of the park.

Workshop #1
Tuesday, July 28, 6-7:30 p.m. 
Heritage Park: 14301 Yale Avenue, Irvine

  • Walking Tour Starting Point: Area between the Lake, Fine Arts Center, and Community Center

Be part of a unique walking workshop where you'll explore Heritage Park, learn about its current programs and services, and share your ideas for its future. Facilitated group tours, interactive discussions, and inclusive activities will help shape a park that better serves the whole community.

Maps and pencils will be provided to participants for taking notes.

An alternative stationary tour will be available for workshop participants with mobility issues to ensure inclusive participation. Large print maps and photographs will be provided for participants in this work group.
All ages and abilities welcome.

Thursday, August 21, 7-8:30 p.m.
Heritage Park: 14301 Yale Avenue, Irvine

  • Community Center Multipurpose Room (1st Floor)

Join us for an inclusive hands-on community workshop where you will explore Heritage Park from diverse perspectives. Step into someone else’s shoes and help shape the future of Heritage Park. This hands-on workshop invites you to explore the park through the eyes of different community members, sparking collaboration and transformative insights for a more inclusive space.

Thursday, September 18, 7-8:30 p.m.
Heritage Park: 14301 Yale Avenue, Irvine

  • Community Center Multipurpose Room (1st Floor)

Join us for the final workshop in the Heritage Park master planning series. At this community workshop, we will reflect on the valuable input we have gathered from residents, unveil inspiring early master plan concepts, and invite you to cast your vote for the vision that most excites you.
